iPhoto '08 *NEED HELP* MISSING MENU/WINDOW

Hello,
This is my first post here, although I have been reading and following this forum for years for help.

However, I cannot find an answer to my current problem.

Today while working in the iPhoto Library, out of nowhere I am missing the entire left side of the screen. This is the box that shows all the albums/events/flagged/trash... I have looked throughout all the tabs and can't find anything that brings it back.

I am unable to perform most tasks I need to in iPhoto now. I am using iPhoto '08 version- 7.1.5.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have spent a few hours working on this to no avail.

Have tried quitting iPhoto, and restarting MacBook.

Move your cursor all the way to the left side until the pointer turns into an arrow that points to the right. Click, grab and drag to the right and your panel should show up.

This worked. Thought it might be something simple, just got so frustrated, overlooked the obvious!
