iPhoto 08 Organization

Okay, I've had this problem with all versions of iPhoto and I'm hoping they may have some setting I don't know about in the new version.

I've been taking digital photos for almost 10 years now... so I have quite a few of them. I already have them all organized into many folders/sub-folders by camera, event, and even just the different stages in my life (high school... college... etc.) Is there a way for me to put my photos into iPhoto and have it simply keep the photos where they are and create albums out of the different folders?

I would really like to start using iPhoto more, but I really don't want to have to change the way I have already organized everything.

Import each folder/album, etc. individually into iPhoto. Should keep your structure intact. If you try to import them all together, they will come over as one big file. Just stay out of the finder! Corruption will ensue and you will be very unhappy!
