I keep getting the same message every time I open up iPhoto:
"128 photos have been found in the iPhoto Library that were not imported.
Would you like to import them?
No or Yes"

If I click no it repeats every time I open iPhoto.
If I click Yes, it imports the same .bmp file that many times. Even though I delete them from the recovered photos album and the Photos Library, I get the same message next time. But get this the number doubles. It went from 16 to 32 to 64 and now 128.

Any ideas on how to fix? I do not need the original photo.

thanks in advance, Jeff

(Bump of old thread because I just solved this problem.)

I had a similar problem where every time it told me I had a photo in my library that was not imported. If you said yes it never could find it so the message came back the next time iPhoto started.

I found this (even older) thread via Google and it solved my problem: https://forums.macrumors.com/archive/index.php/t-330295.html. See the instructions from paolomario.

I deleted the bad photo from the Import folder and now all is well.

Hope this helps someone - Greg
