Hey,
I had a couple dozen albums in iPhoto, imported from where they used to reside in messy folders on my hard drive, when I realized I had forgotten to turn on the 'copy items to iPhoto library' option on. I turned the option on, and continued importing albums as needed. Not long after, I deleted the photos in their old, messy location realizing that iPhoto was going to work out. the next time I went to look at photos in iPhoto, half of them were missing - and it's obvious why, up until I changed that setting the photos were linked to rather than copied into the iPhoto library. I did restore the photos to their original, messy directory from a backup and iPhoto began behaving again.
My question is, is there any way to retroactively import those albums into the library? I can re-import the photos manually I realize, but that means re-naming the albums and running face detection and labeling locations all over again.
I hope my question is clear - and thank you very much for any help you can offer!
