iPhoto 09 crapped out after update, will no longer open.

I upgraded to iLife 09 and applied all the new updatess. Now iPhoto will not open. I get the following message:

If I hold down option+command, I get this:

I tired every option, but nothing. iPhoto still does not open. The solution I found from Apple said to restore from backup, but that option for me is disabled.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Doing this:

"...go to your username> library> preferences> com.apple.iphoto.plist. Delete this file. and reopen"

Fixed everything.
