iphoto 09 - date changing problem

Hi everyone.

I know this topic has been discussed but I have yet to find an answer to my specific problem. Here it is:

Currently, I have several events where the date is reflecting a span a of time. Say from Jan 1 1980, to Jan 1 1995. The problem is that I want to switch this event to have a single date. I am not sure why it is defaulting back to a "from 0/00/000 to 0/00/ 0000" format, even when I try to change them all to a specific day.

Any thoughts on what I am missing here, or whether this is a bug in the software?

You need to change the date on the photos within that event to make the event show the date range you want. Select the photos you want to change, click on "photos" in the menubar, then "adjust date and time". Once you have done this to all of your photos, the event should show that date.
