It seems that iPhoto 09 doesn't seem to embed the locations data (that I have input via iPhoto 09) when I export the pictures using third party plugins. For that matter, when i open up Picasa for Mac, the location data doesn't seem to be on the iphoto photos either. Are other people having this problem?

I don't know where it saves the location data you add using iPhoto, but it definitely isn't in the files. If you edit the location information it doesn't even created a modified version of the file.

It will embed it though if you export using the standard File Export, making sure to tick the box to include location information :)

i am using the flickr and picasa exporter plugin. If you use the new Flickr exporter that is built into iPhoto 09, it makes you put every photo that you export into flickr into its own album. However, unless you have the paid subscription to Flickr, you can only have 3 albums. How can Apple keep screwing up iPhoto? it is very frustrating.....i
