My iPhoto started doing this really weird thing today - when I click the little "i" button on photos, events, or faces and the picture is supposed to flip and reveal location info, etc - the flip animation is slowed way down. I would compare it to minimizing a window while holding shift. Well maybe not that much, but you get the point.

The animation is smooth so I don't see why this is happening. I'm not sure exactly what caused this as I haven't installed any new software, nor have I changed anything else (as far as I know).

So far I tried trashing com.apple.iPhoto.plist and repairing permissions. No effect.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Oh, this is on a Unibody Macbook 2.0 Ghz, 2 GB RAM, running 10.5.7 with all updates installed.
