Help. I'm running on/with OS 6.10.8 on both my 2011 iMac & 2009 MacBook 13.

Over a year back I upgraded my iMac from IPhoto9 to iPhoto11 (ILife pkg.) I left my Macbook on iPhoto9...was 'worried' re the transition. I made several 'older' external HD Library back-ups starting in 2009-13 all with iPhoto9.

Today I wanted to "update" the older iPhoto Libraries on one of my external HDs. Before I was fully 'aware' knew it (I was attempting to view what the older library contained) the/my iMac's iPhoto11 library was rewritten to "conform" to the iPhoto9 Library...and in the process a very large chunk of the iPhoto11 library seems to have gone with Dorthy-I-don't-have-a-clue-where? Be nice if there was some help out there. Really.

I have a time machine plugged into the iMac but have never ventured to clicking the "back up now" icon. "Scrolling" back a couple of years all the iPhoto are iPhoto9s. I can't seem to find/locate a iPhoto11 time page?
