My iPhoto smart album (SA) is not working properly - I created a SA called "Last 30 Days" pretty self explanatory. It's original parameters/rules/settings were as follows:

Date - in the last - 30 - Days

It's supposed to only show me that last 30 days of pictures. I created it to help me limit the amount of pictures on my iPhone photo library to a manageable but useful size. However there are some days where I take some 800 or 900 pictures and I wanna skip these from appearing on the SA until I have whittled them down to those I want to keep. So I added the following parameter/rule/setting to the SA to exclude those pictures:

Event - does not contain - all

Basically if I label an event with the word "all" in its tittle the SA is supposed to skip that event. It had been working fine up until about two weeks ago. Within the last two weeks I created three events with the word "all" assuming that they'd be skipped, but it's not working. What's even weirder to me is that events prior to these three are still being skipped, however for some reason these three new events (or any new event I create now for that matter) with the word "all" just doesn't get omitted.

Solutions I have tried:

Deleting and recreating the SA
Using Command + Option to rebuild the library, thumb nails.... in short I checked every box available
Renaming the events - capital letters, lower case letters, different placement of the word "all" in the label
Changing the 30 day parameter to 15, 10, 45 days

Nothing has worked. I'm starting to think that it's a bug in iPhoto, but I'm really hoping someone here might have an idea that I haven't tried.

My system:

MBPro 2.8 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB of memory
Running OS 10.6.8
iPhoto '11

Thank you for taking the time to read and hopefully help me find a solution to this really annoying problem!
