iphoto 11 standalone?

I thought it was possible to just purchase iphoto 11, without the rest of the ilife suite...

how do i do so? i can't find the link on the apple website...

You cannot. You have to get it with iLife. That's the only way.

Wait till Apple brings out the Mac App Store in < 90 days. It seemed from the demo that all the iLife/iWork apps would be available individually.

Unless you need it right away, then you have to buy the whole suite.
