Hi,

Recent Switcher to a G5 imac.

Got the uptodate program ilife 05 update at the start of Feb - I can see all my photos from within iphoto - but - if I'm in mail or even finder for example I can see nothing in my pictures > iphoto library > date folders ? but if I use find in finder to find all files by extension .jpg I can then see the photos..... strange - have repaired permissions - to no effect. any ideas?

This isn't a problem, it's just the way iPhoto works. Ignore the folder structure and use iPhoto for all image manipulation. Think the Mac way - use drag and drop etc. from the iPhoto window, use the Share - Export command etc. iPhoto is not designed to have you accessing the image files from the Finder, so don't try and you'll be fine! :)

Thanx for the help,

Still trying to get used to the fact that my mac is actually easier to use than a windoze box - and that I don't have to do all the leg work anymore!!!

Got the file I needed out now,

Thanks Again

Darren
