iPhoto 5 wont show my new pics!

ok this is what happens

i import my pics off my cam via ... usb like always

they appear - everything goes smooth and normal - the pics go to the right folders and everything

then next time i reopen iphoto - my last import roll wont show up as thumbs !

the pics are still in the iphoto library folders - but wont show up whatsoever i the app!

its suuuuper wierd

its showing all my pics up to feb 14 - after that nothin

anyone have any ideas !??!

ps. i archived all my pics .. so should u whipe iphoto and reinstal?
