iPhoto 7.1.5 (iLife 08) and Mavericks Compatibility

Hey everybody,

As in title, I am curious if iPhoto 7.1.5 (from iLife 08) is compatible with Mavericks, or will it be required that I update to iPhoto 9.5? (I have held out for this long because I didn't like the Faces "feature", and have found this version to be the fastest and most usable for me.)

Wondering if anyone has any first hand experience?
