Hello! I have a macbook that i bought 2009. it's os x 10.5.8 ..so it's pretty old and slow now-a-days. I wanted to clean it from anything unnecessary, so I saved every important files on my hardboard. I put all my photos and video in "iPhoto" and saved the file named "iphoto library" which has all my pics. Now when I restored my Macbook to its factory settings, and i ran also those two discs which came with the box. but now i don't seem to have iPhoto anymore. I don't remember was it included or did i download it back then. But now I can't get to my photos and videos, 'cause i can't open the "iPhoto Library". I've been trying to look from internet a link to download iPhoto 8.0 but all I can find is the newest version iPhoto 9.5 and I think it would not open the iPhoto Library file which was made with 8.0 ..and my computer can't run that version either i think. What should i do? Thank you already!
