iPhoto 9.0 Will Not Upgrade to 9.1 - Please Help!

I have iLife '11 with iPhoto 9.0. Every time I try to open iPhoto, it displays this:

I've downloaded the iPhoto 9.1 Update both through Software Update and directly from Apple's website. When I run either of them I get this:

I do have iPhoto 9.0 as you can see from Get Info here:

If anybody has any ideas as to why I can't upgrade to 9.1 or knows how I can do it, please let me know. I can't access my iPhoto Library or download photos and videos from my iPhone. Please help!

I would try uninstalling iPhoto and reinstalling it. Then try applying the update.

That seems to work, however, now iPhoto is extremely glitchy. It hangs all the time and freezes the computer. It also turns the different albums into pixelated nonsense. I'm not sure what to do about that. Any ideas?
