iPhoto album syncing with LOCAL folders

Hi,

I have several folders on my desktop that contain pictures. I dragged each of these folders over to iPhoto and it automatically created an "album".

I want to set it up so that everytime I place picture files into the desktop folder, it automatically updates the iphoto album.

Is there anyway to do this? Thanks!
