Hello,

I have recently decided to migrate from iPhoto (v8.1) to Lightroom (v2.5) and I need some advice re exporting my photos. I have two questions...

1. How do I edit my library so I only have either the original file (if the photo hasn't been edited) or modified file (if the photo has been edited) rather than iPhoto's annoying habit of keeping both if the photo is edited. My library is far too large to do this manually and I have spent quite a while reading previous posts and not come up with a definite solution. I'm using Leopard OS 10.5.8.

2. Once I have slimmed down my library what is the safest way to import into Lightroom? Once I have successfully imported the files into Lightroom I no longer intend to use iPhoto.

Many thanks in advance,

Thom
