iphoto and aperture always playing catch up

Does anyone know why does it always seem that Aperture is always "catching" up to iphoto for the social integration/books printing aspects? Does anyone go back and forth between iphoto and Aperture? Thanks

Ahh this frustrates the hell out of me too! I wish they could update them simultaneously.

I love aperture for its library management but iPhoto's Facebook & Flickr integration looks wonderful now. I don't know whether to upgrade iLife or not, as I'll likely end up upgrading Aperture next time too!
