iphoto and iphone collaboration

I use iphoto on my mac mini and use the "hide" option on some of my pics in certain albums. I also sync iphoto albums to my iphone. Does anyone know if the hidden photos in iphoto transfer to the iphone when you sync? And if so is there a way of opening those hidden photos on iphone? Thanks
