When I recently upgraded my iMac from OSX Panther to Leopard, one result was the corruption of all my existing iPhoto jpg files. If the application opens at all, it shortly "quits unexpectedly" Any advice on how to restore the files - have tried opening app while holding option or option/control without success.

Which version of iPhoto? If it's iPhoto '08 then you have to hold both option + control when you click on the icon to get to the maintenance screen.

iPhoto app corruption problem

Thanks, KBMB

I did the upgrade to 10.5.1 in April (w/ new iPhoto vers. 2.0.1 -3E8), but the original iPhoto version came with our iMac OS X.3 when we purchased it (2005?) - is there a different procedure to access the maintenance screen w/ the older versions?

Not sure about a version that old. I got my info from here:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2042

They state that versions 4.0.3 and earlier you hold Shift + Option......you can give that a shot.
