iPhoto, Applescript, and Amazon Glacier question

Hi, is it possible to have Applescript copy all the photos in an iPhoto library for some determined interval (i.e. "copy all imported photos from the last 7 days") and have those upload into Glacier, on some sort of schedule like crontab?

If this isn't possible, is there an alternative to iPhoto that can perform this function and still manage a library of photos?
