Every time I plug in my iPhone it causes iPhoto to autostart on my comp. I find this to be very annoying since I rarely upload photos from my phone. How do I turn this autostart off? I know there must be some way to do this through the registry...

iPhoto > Preferences > Connecting camera opens: No application.

I am using an old version of iPhoto (iphoto 5) and it doesnt seem to have this option in the preferences. Any other suggestions?

I believe you can do it in image capture. iPhoto just uses image capture, or at least its settings anyway.

It would be great if you could just disselect the iPhone (or only autostart when iPhone has new photos in the roll). So it would open further automatically if you connect others of your digital cameras.

Sorry for pulling up an olds thread... I did a search and found this relates to my issue....

I want to be able to stop the iPhone from starting iPhoto but still have my other Cameras do it. Anyone know of a way how?
