** iPhoto back up options **

I would like to back up all of my photos (and have a copy stored elsewhere in case of fire/theft etc)

would I be able to get DVD burner to burn thousands of pics to DVD?

easier/cheaper to just get external hard drive and back up, then store in another location

am I better off using iCloud (not sure if there are limitations on size) and/or the safety of this

and/or other suggestions/thoughts?

You can get a separate DVD burner, but it's not very economical. You're better off getting an external hard drive.

That, and/or uploading all your photos to Flickr. Everyone gets 1TB free and you can even use iPhoto to sync it onto Flickr.
