iTunes has that handy backup feature that will burn your library across disks and will keep it up to date by adding new material to new disks next time you decide to backup.

Does iPhoto have anything like this? I can't seem to find a similar feature.
 
I'd be interested to know if it has tis option too
or if there is a mini-program that could do it.
 
highlight the images you want to backup, go to "share" --> "Burn disc". To backup to a hard drive instead, go to your iPhoto Library folder (Default in the User --> Pictures) and just drag the folder to another mounted drive. iPhoto will still start from the original master library unless you specify another library to use (hold option at launch)
