iPhoto - blurred photos from iPhone Import

One of the updates of iPhoto causes the photos from within iPhoto to get really blurred on the iPhoto import screen. Once they are imported they are fine but it sure is annoying to see blurry photos before import.

Any solutions for this?

How do they look at full-size?

Still blurry, but once imported from my iPhone into iPhoto no matter what the size, the photos look fine.
