iPhoto Book for my wife and daughter

My wife is due in a few months and I'm in the process of creating a book for her documenting all the fun times we've had during her pregnancy. We just found out we're having a girl so I'm trying to change the background of the book in iPhoto to a nice pink. There is a kinda ugly purple/pink color but not what i'm looking for.

Are there any plugins or anything that I can use to further customize my book without compromising the ability for the apple to print it correctly.
