I am considering putting together an IPhoto book as an 18th birthday present for my daughter. I'm thinking the picture oriented book. Has anyone else bought one of these books, and what do you think of them? Thanks!

I've started working on the book. It'll be fun putting it together! Once you place the order about how long does it take to receive them?

I've been looking for a reason to try out one of the books. We ordered some calendars a month or so ago and I was quite impressed with the quality. We got them in just over a week from the time we ordered.

I have ordered two books, each one with nearly 50 pages. The quality is excellent and I am definitely going to be compiling more of them.

I got mine in a about a week.

When you compile a book:

1) use nice quality pictures
2) if you use text, check it and check it again.

I had a typo in my text but was lucky to discover that once submitted, you have 90 minutes to cancel the order and make any changes.

I have order one hard cover and 2 soft covers. One of the soft covers when I received it had pages falling out, a quick call to apple and the overnightened me 2 replacements, they threw in the extra for my inconvenience. They are printed by Kodak, to you know the print quality is going to be good. They are Awesome, will by again when needed.

It's been fun working on the book. I think it's cool you can also view it in slideshow format. I'm going to scan some old photos at work today and hopefully finish formatting the book this weekend.

I'll probably also create an IMovie equivalent to the book. It's an 18th birthday present for my daughter.
