I had about 3GB of photos on my mac that my girlfreind wanted on her eMac so I thought that the easiest thing to do was stick them on a DVD and import them onto her machine.

Anyway I burnt the DVD and it appeared that a good 2/3 of the DVD had been burnt which was about right for a 4.7GB DVD.

Anyway I put the DVD into my girlfriends eMac, it mounts into iPhoto and I try to import to her library but it doesn't work. I then try dragging the photos form the DVD image in iPhoto into the library, again no joy. So finally I tried to import to library from the "Originals" folder on the DVD but it said that folder was empty. I then look on the DVD and find that only the thumbnail images of around 50k have been burnt and that the size of the DVD is 64MB! The originals folders are empty but the physical appearance of the disc shows far more data has been burnt onto the DVD. Anyone else had the same issues.

Both macs have iPhoto 6.
