iPhoto Calender

I am trying to make a calendar for my dad in iphoto. Most of my library is available to me, but about 50 pictures are not. I can't drag and drop them into the calendar. I really need these photos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried importing them into iPhoto using the menu option? File-Import to Library.

What is the file size of the pics?

I found some issues with iPhoto when using photos that have been imported onto a new mac from an old one. A couple of my older photos didn't import properly, only smaller thumbnail sized image came over not the full file.
