iPhoto captions off the screen and too small when output to TV over DVI

Hi there. This is my first time here and I'm hoping someone can help. I'm using a MacBook laptop and I've been having a frustrating time with iPhoto photo captions when viewing my slideshows on an external TV connected via DVI. The photo captions are super tiny (impossible to read from the sofa!) and appearing up the in the top left corner - many of which go off the screen so they're essentially illegible. Can these captions be made larger for TV viewing or at least re-positioned on the screen? THANKS IN ADVANCE! -greg
