iPhoto | correcting date stamp

Hi all

iPhoto seems to displays all the correct dates for my pictures but I when I look at the file in Finder, the date is wrong. It appears to have taken the 'created' date as the date I imported it.

Is there anyway to edit the EXIF (that correct??) so the actual date is the created date??
