I have iPhoto 6.0.5 on OS 10.4.8, and I have 648 items in the iPhoto trash. Whenever I try to empty the trash, I get to the "Are you sure?" message, press OK, then iPhoto crashes. Any ideas?

iPhoto crashes upon attempt to empty trash

Weird. Maybe try rebuilding the library. If that doesn't work, then create a new folder in iPhoto and drag some of your trashed pictures to it so that iPhoto isn't deleting such a large group all at one time.
