iPhoto dates problem

Because iPhotos sort only by month and not by year, photos belonging to a different year but to a same month is sorted together. Is there a way to view my photos in a more timeline fashion?

You can have them sort by Date: Open iphoto> top menu bar> View> Sort events> By dates./// Was it checked on sort by Title? If so, you might notice "April" was first and then August (alphabetical order). I seen a lot of organizers on Google if your looking for the whole kidden-kabootle.
