Hallo,

I deleted an album accidentally, and now re-importing that album. When i do this iPhoto says that there are duplicate photos. These photos can be found under 'faces' and 'locations' but the album to which they belong no longer exists. I selected import despite duplicates, and now i have two copies of these photos in the 'faces' and 'locations' view.

How can i delete one copy of these?

These photos can be found under 'faces' and 'locations' but the album to which they belong no longer exists.

Are they in the iPhoto Trash?

If not, you can find these photos in your Pictures Folder. Then a right-click on the iPhoto Library file and select Show Package Contents.

They weren't in the iPhoto trash. I tried viewing the iPhoto Library package contents, but the photos were all ordered by date rather than by album name.

I've managed to sort it out, i think; in the 'Events' view i merged the duplicate galleries, viewed the merged gallery, highlighted all the pics, and then 'cut' them.
