In the previous iPhoto, whenever I imported from a card reader, I had the option to select something like Delete Originals, and after importing, my SD card would be erased. This feature seems to be lost in iPhoto 08. I noticed that every-time I connect my card reader, it'll still show the previous photos.
Is there something I'm missing, or did they forget this important feature?

Here's the options I see: http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/3078/barbj4.png

On my iMac using iPhoto '08, after I import my photos I get the prompt to erase the originals. I much prefer having the option after as I can see if my photos were safely imported. I'm surprised that you're not getting that. If not, maybe there's something in preferences about that.
