iPhoto description will not display fully

How do I get the description of a photo to fully display when viewing as a slideshow? It will only show one line of text across the picture. That is about 55 character, and when in the information window I can put alot more characters in. For instants I can put "We went to see Maytag Matilda after the fountian. This was so cool!" But only "We went to see Maytag Matilda after the fountian. This" will show up in the slideshow. I have iphoto 11.

Another question; is it possible to change the font for just one picture? I can only figure out how to change the font for every picture description.
