iphoto doesnt show jailbreaked iphone pictures. loading... 4ever

iphoto 08 7.1.3 shows ipod as a volume/folder, says loading Photos, wheel spins... and spins... nothing happens.

some camera related Apps i have that ill list because i dont know weather they could be conflicting.

Im wondering, as a work around, if i cant find the actual picture folder on my phone via SFTP and just drag them to my desk top? im already in my phone, i just need to klnow the Directory/ Path.
