I have recently noticed, that if you edit photos in iPhoto then export them and view them in any browser other than Safari they look as originals. Is there any way to make the changes stay after export?

How are you exporting them? Mine export as the modified image/photo.

I click on the album -> - A (select all the photos) -> File -> Export.

Once this is done, I upload images (eg - http://images25.fotki.com/v948/photos/5/533118/5181115/Agadir087-vi.jpg) and if you open the same image in Safari and any other browser say Firefox, the images look different. I want every browser to display the image as Safari does. Is it possible?

I have posted an image you can test in the post above. The image looks the same in iPhoto, Adobe Lightroom, Preview and Safari. BUT it looks different in Firefox, Camino, Opera etc.

If I remember correctly, Safari has a different colour scheme to firefox etc. That's why it looks different. i.e. This is a normal thing.
