I'm sure this is easy, but when you import new photos from your iPhone it goes to an area called last import. How do you take those photos and create a new event? It seemed more obvious in prior versions of iPhoto.

Thanks!!

It goes into an event whose name defaults to the date if you do not name it. The "last import" isn't an event, but an album whose contents change every time you do an import.

As above. A new Event will have been created, but after import you may find your mac takes you straight to Last Import. Just have a look on your Events page and you will see the new Event, titled with the date. Or if its a photo youve taken with your iPhone, then just look in your Photostream Event and it should be there already.
