Here
I exported my iPhoto Library for backups a few months ago and I used "JPEG" with the "Maximum" quality. I did it again recently and used "Current" and noticed that the "Current" is roughly half the size of the other export.

Well there be much quality difference between the two options? For example one photo when exported as Max JPEG is 4.7MB in size and with current it is 2.7MB. Most of my shots are from an iPhone camera.

Would there be any quality advantage to choosing JPEG or even PNG over current?

Thanks
