I hate iPhoto.

I've had it uninstalled for years. But I'd like to use Photostream to share photos between my iOS devices and my Mac.

A new app called My Photostream is a client purely for Photostream, but it requires iPhoto to be installed. iPhoto is huge. I can't justify 1.5gb of my ssd space for an app I hardly use.

Is it possible to only install the small part of iPhoto that is used for photostream? Or are there parts of the Package Contents I can delete once I install it?

Anyone tried this?
