Logged a support case with Apple on this already, but engineers are baffled and have escalated it up the chain. 
After Time Machine restore to a brand new MBP15" from my old MBP13", iPhoto sits on the spinning wait icon when I launch, and won't load my library. All the commands in iPhoto are responsive still, I can exit the app, open a different library, or even create a new library. If I create a new library it opens fine, but obviously I want to get my old library back so all my photo tags and albums stay in tact...
Any ideas how I can fix this?
