Hi,
I have a MBA mid 2014 with 8 GB Ram and a 256 SSD. All my photos are stored on my NAS which I connected via AFP.
Now I set iPhoto not to copy my photos to it's folder and imported my pictures. I created a album with 1.600 photos of my last vacation.
Now when I quit iPhoto and restart it, select the album hit cmd+a to select all of it's pictures and press start slideshow iPhoto hangs. It hangs for about 10 to 15 seconds and longer befor it starts the slideshow.
As soons as the slideshow did run once and I restart it everything works flawless until the next restart of iPhoto.
Does anybody know what the problem is?
Kind regards,
Michael
