Ok, I'm having trouble loading photos into iPhoto off of Photobucket. What I did was save them into a file in my "Photos" file. I then opened iPhoto and tried to "Add to Library". I choose my photos and click "Import". iPhoto acts like it's going to import my files and then gives me the following error message:

Unreadable files: XX

The following files could not be imported (they may be unrecognized file type or the files may not contain valid data).

Now. I can click on the file and "Preview" it and it shows up just fine. The file endings are either JPG or PNG.

What am I doing wrong!?!?!? Help!!!

Thank you in advance!!!

I dont know if this will help, but what I do to import a few pictures is just drag them to the desktop, open iphoto, then drag them into the library and it automatically imports them. Good luck!

you might need to try a restore. that might help.

I've had the same problem and exact same error message importing, not from photobucket, but Photo Booth.

Yes, you can simply drag them into iPhoto, but it's still annoying not being able to use a quicker import button.

I've tried a restore and it didn't help. Anyone have any ideas?
