Iphoto help- "Show Keyword" won't show

Hi,

I am trying to assign keywords to my iphoto '08 library. I can't get the "Show Keywords" to show the keywords. I have tried to open it both with a photo selected in and without any photos selected. Each way, "Show Keywords" is available from the Window menu, but nothing happens. I have never used the Keywords before and have never had the screen open before.

I am able to view keywords, and add them individually to pictures from the view menu.

Thanks for any help.
