Hi

I have 5000 photos in iphoto but not all are filed in albums, so I'm wondering whether there is a way to find them?

Thanks

it should be as easy as creating a new smart album with the criteria

Album is not Any

NOT in SMART album

Album is not ANY is straightforward enough. But I don't use standard albums. I use keywords and comments on my photos and then have smart albums filter them. I can't seem to find a way to make a smart album which shows me photos that are not in my other smart albums. Perhaps this is impossible because it becomes circular logic, i.e. the smart album is suppose to find photos not in a smart album. Any ideas out there? (Btw: using iPhoto5). Thanks!

smart album loop

Hi

I agree, might be a loop.
Why not select all your smart albums, select all images, make a new album from selection and then make a smart album "Album is not Any"
