iPhoto import doesn't show up under 'Events'

I downloaded a bunch of photos from Facebook and wanted to import them in iPhoto. I just selected the entire folder containing the photos and dragged it into the iPhoto window. The import process seems to have completed just fine, but I can't find the photos anywhere in my library (only under 'Last Import') ...

Running iPhoto 9.2.1 on OS X Lion 10.7.3

I'm not in front of a Mac right now, but you should be able to right click on the photo and select an option like "Show in events" or something similar. This will take you to the event that contains your photo.

I had the same thing happen recently. I imported some photos and then for some reason couldn't find them.

I had that problem a while back, it turned out one of the photos had a date tag from 2007 so the whole event was placed amongst the events of 2007. Maybe that is what's happening here?
