I searched it and couldn't find relevant help.

When I try to unload the photos and videos into iPhoto, my import stops after about a dozen pics and sits there like it is trying but nothing is happening. Then, if I wait it out (about 30 min) it will tell me that several of the files are not a supported format (JPG TAKEN ON THE FREAKING PHONE ITSELF).

Anyone have this issue or any thoughts on how to make it work?

Thanks for your help

I had the same problem. I had a base phone, restored from my 3GS backup and I couldn't import, or could only import 1 picture then have to reboot.

I fixed it by restoring to factory, which downloads iOS4, then setting it up as a previous phone, and it works great.

Same issue here.

I thought it was my wife's macbook pro. But I have the same issue with my iMac. Both machines have 4GB of physical memory.

This happens with my 3GS all the freaking time, it's so annoying. I've found that going through Image Capture and setting the import location to iPhoto solves the problem effectively. Still a pain in the ass though.
