iPhoto importing for a long time. Is it stuck?

I was importing some video (4 files that were saved elsewhere) and it was taking a very long time. So I hit "stop import". (decided to do one at a time).

Now it ways Stopping - at the very bottom, but that's been going on for over 30 min. I'm afraid to do anything in iPhoto.

Anyone know what's going on? I don't want to mess anything up in iPhoto.

NEVERMIND - I called Apple - The files were tooo large, I had to Force quit..

I have the same problem right now. my camera died in the middle of importing photos and now its stuck on the photo where my camera died at. its been stuck there for 3 weeks now and i cannot quit iphoto, turn my computer off, or even restart it. how did you force quit iphoto?

Nevermind, I figured out how to force quit on it. thanks anyways!
